Backstory/History - aka, where they have been between DH and Ascendant, and beyond: Somewhere in the following August she got a job as a clerk for Madam Malkin's which suited her just fine. The hours and pay were reasonable enough and it gave her something to actually work on besides her list of exes. After a few months of working and commuting from Scotland to London by Floo she decided to move- like a few of her classmates- to London. She found a small awkwardly made flat not too far from the Cauldron and began to find some entertainment in simple Muggle inventions such as the telephone, television and then the VCR, all of which became her new best friends figuratively speaking. Moving out was against her family's better judgment but she knew that in a new world there would be less stress on marrying for blood status and more for feeling and if she was to prove herself worthy to a potential husband, living with her family and being taken care of was not the way. Though she knew they would inherit a fortune she decided that when the time came she would 'accidentally' forget to mention that would still take place. With the development on Quango she has found a slight temptation to help out but her pride and in some ways her same hold her back from doing so. Someday.... How the war affected them: In some ways, Tracey has grown up considerably. Though she still thinks the world of herself and knows that she is a top prize for men, she also knows that she has to be more practical that just a pretty face. |
